Beach Getaway

We survived our first vacation with the little xman last week. Xander was spoiled by his Grandpa, Grandma, Cousins, Uncle and Aunt while at the beach. Of course all good things must come to end and we didn't want to leave. I seriously love being a beach bum! I can't wait for more memories to be created next time....

Well we finally have our new addition to the family! This last week has been exciting but exhausting....Our good friend Will took these adorable pictures for us when he visited last week. I have so much love for this little person. He is smothered with kisses daily.

An update....

Pretty soon this blog is going to be only baby pictures of my little guy. We went on a little adventure a couple weeks ago, realizing it might be the last before there is "three" of us (more like four with the pooch). It was just a quick weekend get away to Seattle. We took the ferry out to Bainbridge Island did some shopping, exploring and enjoyed a yummy lunch. Food makes me very happy right now.

Waiting around...

I don't seem to carry my camera around much these days...could be the extra effort goes into breathing. Spring is here and we have been enjoying these beautiful northwest evenings. Mike makes sure I take evening walks (weather permitting) and I "managed" to snap a few pictures this last time.




If you look close enough you can see the 8 mos tummy, we are getting excited for this little fella to join us!

Well my allergies have taken over my life right now! I am choosing to bunker inside since I can't handle all the sneezing, coughing, stuffy nose associated with being outside. I haven't been able to get around to taking many pictures lately, don't know where all my time goes?!?! So I have some goodies on my iphone that I took these last months to share.

It's been awhile since I have been out shooting....but this is my oodles of cuteness from last year. You might remember this gorgeous family and uber talented photographers themselves from last year. Mr. Oliver is walking now and didn't want anything to do that didn't involve walking. I loved the new location Keri suggested. As I drove away I thought maybe I should have brought the dog as a source of entertainment for Oliver...I guess next time. While squatting I lost my balance resulting in a nice plop, don't have the cat like reflexes and center of gravity anymore being prego.

Home Sweet Home for the Holidays

Since I haven't blogged anything this month this one is gonna be a jumbo blog. We were able to go home this month for a whole nine days of relaxing and visiting with our families. It has been a long time since we were home for the holidays. I was looking forward to having a winter white Christmas. Even got a day of snow falling, which was perfect for cuddling up under a blanket and watching TV with my mom. I got some gorgeous shots outside my parents home of the fields and sunrise. My sister and all her family have season passes to Snowbasin and we were able to go up to Snowbasin on Christmas Eve for a fun day of skiing/boarding for Mike:)I forgot how beautiful the Wasatch Mountains are. I was able to shoot alot of family pictures while back home for some of our siblings which are mingled into the random pictures from our trip home. Also if you think I look like I have a lack of makeup, pretty dress up look going on...well I blame that on the pregnancy, it was a vacation after all! Happy Holidays everyone......
